This Burbank location is a smaller store compared to some of the other Handels. Basically you would go up to one of several windows and order from the menu signs outside the store. They will made your item(s) and call you for pickup. There is seating area outside the store. Smaller but same great tasting homemade ice cream since 1945!

My friends and I stopped by this Handel last night to grab some dessert after eating dinner. I been to another location so I was already familiar with their flavors. We found parking just fine in the plaza this store is located in. I got the small chocolate chunk in a dipped waffle cone. My friends got the coffee chocolate chip, banana cream pie and chocolate chip cookie dough in a cup. They give you a decent scoop here and the price is reasonable. The ice cream can melt quickly depending on the weather so to avoid any mess, I would recommend getting it in a cup. Th customer service here is great, they really want you to have a great time.

Came during my lunch break on a Friday afternoon, there wasn't really much of a line. I sampled the "monkey business", it was delicious but not the flavor I was feeling so I got the mint chip, which was phenomenal! The girl at the counter was super nice and helpful. Great location, great ice cream, massive portions... don't miss out!

2025.06-06_1945: When they first opened, I saw there was a huge line to get in so I didn't want to try it. The first time we went a couple weeks ago, I saw that it wasn't a dine-in ice cream shop like BR and I was relieved. The line went super fast because they have four windows open and plenty of staff. I made the mistake of walking to Handel's and wanting to eat it at home so I really couldn't enjoy my Taro ice cream during my first visit. It was DELICIOUS but I was walking and eating my ice cream. That was just a bad decision. When we visited today, it was perfect. Parking wasn't an issue and they have a few tables and stools so you are able to enjoy your ice cream immediately, especially on a hot day. The staff was super awesome, friendly and very helpful. I love the fact that the lovely young lady that assisted us warned us that the Monster Malt was 44 oz. Holy moly, that's huge. We're so happy because we didn't want to go into a diabetic coma as well as be up all night. She absolutely rocked! I was able to sample Handel's Frosted Animal Cookie and the Mister sampled the Black Cherry. In both samples, there were chunks of cookie and cherries. Today, I ordered the Green Tea
